Notice that Miles & all 3 of his children died within a 1 month period between May & June of 1776.
This may be the Miles Sperry that Eudora Jane Speary Sick's notes refer to in the retelling of a family story about a fever epidemic striking the family & all the young children dying.

She read these notes at a 1937 Speary family reunion & attributed them to a Miles Sperry/Speary that is the nephew of this Miles - the son of his brother Wooding Sperry & Anna Lawrence.

The story does not fit in to the factsof his nephew's life. However, the story sure seems to fit here.
