Two scrappers who won non-title bouts with the present and former featherweight champions of the world within the last ten months will clash Monday night in the main event at Town Hall, Scranton. They are Billy Speary (above), Nanticoke who conquered champion Henry Jeffra last week, and Jimmy Gilligan, Hamburg, New York, who defeated ex-champion Joey Archibald last February. It will be a case of a "fighting Welshman" against a "fighting Irishman" and fireworks are expected. |
